🔧 Repair Policy
At OHAS Electrical Pvt Ltd, we are committed to providing reliable LED lighting products. In case a product develops a fault, we offer repair services as per the following terms:
1. Eligibility for Repair
- Repairs are offered for products purchased directly from OHAS Electrical Pvt Ltd or our authorized dealers/distributors.
- Customers must provide a valid invoice/bill and the product’s serial number/barcode for verification.
- Products without original proof of purchase or tampered product codes will not be eligible.
2. Warranty Repairs (Free of Cost)
- If the product is under warranty period, repairs will be carried out free of cost, provided the defect is due to manufacturing fault.
- Warranty repairs do not cover damages caused by:
- Wrong wiring or installation
- Power surge, voltage fluctuation, or electrical overload
- Water damage, corrosion, or exposure to moisture
- Physical damage, mishandling, or modification by third-party
- If repair is not possible, a replacement unit may be provided (subject to availability and warranty terms).
3. Out-of-Warranty Repairs (Chargeable)
- After warranty expiry, repairs can be carried out on a chargeable basis.
- Customers will be informed of the estimated repair cost before the process begins.
- Service charges and spare parts costs must be paid before repair is completed.
4. Repair Timeline
- Standard repair timeline is 7–15 working days, depending on spare part availability and fault type.
- Delays may occur due to supply chain issues, in which case customers will be informed.
5. Shipping of Products for Repair
- Customers must ship the defective product securely packed to our service center at their own cost (unless otherwise agreed).
- For repaired products, return shipping charges may apply unless covered under warranty.
- OHAS Electrical Pvt Ltd is not responsible for damage during transit caused by improper packaging by the customer.
6. Repair Warranty
- Repaired/replaced parts will carry a 30–90 day service warranty (depending on part type).
- Service warranty covers only the repaired/replaced part, not the entire product.
7. Right to Refuse
- We reserve the right to refuse repair services if:
- The product is found to be counterfeit or purchased from unauthorized sellers.
- The product is beyond economical repair.
- The customer refuses to accept the estimated charges for out-of-warranty repair.
